disclaimer
i have adhd, and REALLY bad rsd. this means that basically any sort of real or perceived hostility or criticism can send me into a negative spiral lasting several hours. this includes being called out on things i genuinely did wrong. ^_^;;
so if i ever fuck up and then make a huge deal out of it, i do usually understand what i did wrong in the first place, even if im being irrational at the time. i have super unhealthy panic responses. as such i might say a lot of things i dont mean, or overexaggerate the severity of the original issue or my feelings towards it.
my rsd can kick in for other things too but those r way less scary for everyone involved

i dont mean to deny that its harmful, and i understand what it can cause for other people. this isnt meant as a long drawn-out excuse, i do want to fix my bad habits and get better. this is just mostly a disclaimer that I Might Do Weird And Dumb Shit bc i think its easier for me to explain right off the bat than for you to have to figure it out when it happens
